Children

Most of our staff members have children and we feel that we have an insightful understanding of how they think and behave.  We want to develop relationships with children that create the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health, and we want them to look forward to their visits – not to be afraid of the dentist.

With this in mind, it is our philosophy that we will treat all cooperative children under six years of age who require two or fewer fillings, in our clinics.

We will not treat any uncooperative children in our clinics.

More than three cavities at any one appointment will require a hospital visit or a referral to a children’s dental specialist for treatment and family counseling.

By the time children are three years of age they should be coming in for regular dental appointments.

Children under three can come for a “Happy Visit” to our office.  At this appointment we will introduce them to our environment, show them our cool tools, give them a ride in the chair and give them a prize!  This service is free!
