We love technology and are committed to being at the leading edge of the dental technology industry.
We currently have seven dental lasers. These instruments have a wide range of uses: teeth whitening, soft tissue removal, root canal therapy, reducing tooth sensitivity, cavity preparation (with no freezing), tooth removal and sectioning, cleaning implants, uncovering implants, and periodontal pocket reduction/elimination.
Our team takes a lot of pride in what we do. We also like to control all aspects of the products we sell in order to ensure the highest quality. As a result we now have an in-house dental lab that digitally scans, designs, and cuts ceramic restorations (crowns, inlays, onlays, fillings).
The latest version of this allows us to scan the teeth in the mouth which eliminates the need for messy and uncomfortable impressions. It also means that your restorations can be delivered on the same day they are prepared. No second appointment, no second shot of freezing!
All of our offices use digital radiographs. These images are environmentally friendly and significantly reduce the radiation exposure to the patients. The images are easily shared between the offices (via e-mail) as well as with our patients (on large screens) in order to help them understand their condition(s).
Although we do utilize paper in our offices, all of our daily operations are computer generated and stored, thereby making our practices more environmentally friendly and efficient. The computers reduce scheduling errors, send appointment reminders, and birthday greetings! They allow for digital smile design as well as implant treatment planning.
Have you ever wondered what your teeth would be like if they were: whiter, straighter, longer, shorter, etc.? Well now you can!
Our practices have the ability to take a digital image of your smile and to add or subtract the items on your list of desires. These images are then e-mailed or printed for you to take home. When you are ready to move forward we use these images as the “blue print” for your new smile!

Our staff have been forerunners in the integration of dentistry and sleep related breathing issues. Our screening tools evaluate the oxygen levels in your blood as well as monitor your heart rate while you sleep. This information is then used to determine if you have any breathing conditions which should be treated by either sleep physicians and/or our staff.
It turns out that people who grind their teeth at night always have a breathing problem. If you can treat the airway issues, the grinding stops. Grinding teeth is extremely destructive to teeth and very expensive to repair. In the past we provided grind guards to protect the teeth; this was effective for tooth protection but did not make our patients feel better or improve their health. Now we are doing both.
Two of our dentists as well as our anesthetists, use the latest technology to ensure that those who elect to be asleep for their dentistry are safe and have a great experience.
All of our restorative operatories have ceiling mounted televisions. The T.V.’s entertain and distract our patients as they are getting their oral health needs taken care of. Coupled with noise canceling headphones, this really improves the dental experience.

Gallery Dental owns a specialized x-ray machine that allows us to accurately measure and image the head in three dimensions. This technology is strategically located in our Carman office as it is logistically in the centre of our operations.
We use the information gathered by this device to plan our implant locations, look for pathology, evaluate fractured teeth, and plan wisdom teeth removal.
All of our offices use the latest technology to screen for oral cancer. The Velscope is a special frequency of light that causes abnormal cells in the oral cavity to fluoresce. All new patients and high risk patients are regularly screened for oral cancer.
Note: the mortality rate for oral cancer is extremely high if not caught at an early stage.
